NFL Top 100: Jeremy Maclin ranks No. 61 on the list

The former Eagles wide receiver made the NFL Top 100 list as revealed by NFL Network.

NFL Network has been running their annual Top 100 players in the NFL series. It was revealed on Wednesday night that former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver made the list at No. 61.

Maclin may no longer be with the Eagles, but it was his 2014 performance with Philadelphia that earned him this spot. Here's what we wrote about Maclin earlier this offseason:

"Numbers: 1043 snaps, 85 rec, 1318 yards, 15.5 Y/R, 10 TD, 72 Long, 1 drop, 0 fumbles

Review: Jeremy Maclin had his fair share of doubters heading into the 2014 season. He had never reached the (arbitrary) 1,000 yard mark and he was coming off an ACL injury that forced him to miss all of 2013. Maclin bet on himself in free agency by only taking a one-year contract and it really paid off. Maclin had a huge year despite lackluster quarterback play. He set career highs in several categories and proved to be a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver."

Many thought Maclin would return to Philadelphia but Kansas City offered more money than the Eagles so now he's a member of the Chiefs. The Eagles drafted Nelson Agholor at No. 20 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft to help replace Maclin's production.

Maclin is just the second Eagles player (from 2014) to appear on the NFL Top 100 list as the countdown continues. Darren Sproles already checked in at No. 81. Who will be next?
