2015 NFL Draft Trade: Eagles get 2016 third round pick in deal with Detroit Lions

The Eagles have made a trade.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have made a trade. They will not be picking at No. 113 in the fourth round as expected.

Instead, the Eagles made a deal with the Detroit Lions to acquire a third round pick in 2016.

This now means the Eagles won't pick until the sixth round at No. 191 overall, barring a trade up.

The Eagles likely traded down due to a run of offensive linemen before their pick. Names like Daryl Williams, T.J. Clemmings, and Tre' Jackson went off the board before their selection.

The Eagles don't have their 2016 second round pick due to the Sam Bradford trade. As of now, they will have two third round selections next year.
