According to an official release, the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks. The Eagles drafted the former Texas Longhorns defender in the third round at No. 84 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Hicks and the Eagles agreed to terms so quickly because now that contracts are slotted, there isn't much negotiation room. The deal is a standard four-year contract.
The signing of Hicks means that all six players the Eagles drafted this year are now under contract. All players will be ready in time to participate in the team's offseason workouts.
