How old does Microsoft's age-guessing tool think the Eagles are? - PhillyVoice
Microsoft launched a new age-guessing tool, which can be found at how-old.net, where you can upload pictures of yourself or loved ones, and it will guess your ages. If you haven't seen it on Facebook or Twitter yet, you will. Before this time-wasting distraction jumps the shark, I may as well get a blog post out of it! And yes, I have no life. Using ESPN's profile pictures for all the Eagles players who have one (which would exclude the rookies), I uploaded each face into the system to see which Eagles had the youngest and oldest faces. Microsoft over-shot on almost everyone on the team, but for the most part at least had the older guys on the old end of the spectrum, and vice versa.
DeSean Jackson predicts Redskins will be ‘the team to beat’ in the NFC East - Washington Post
"Well if you want to be political and say on paper, I think all the ESPN guys and all the bloggers will probably say the Dallas Cowboys. But in my eyes, I already think we're going to surprise a lot of people this year. I'll say once again, I'm excited about the new additions that [have] come in. Really, we just have to kind of build a camaraderie. So once the season starts and we're ahead full speed, I think we're gonna surprise a lot of people, and a lot of people are really gonna be saying, 'Wow, those guys are pretty good.' So once the season starts — I'm not gonna put too much pressure on us — but I think we'll be the team to beat this year."
Sunday Stuff - Iggles Blitz
I still have my doubts on whether Ed Reynolds ever develops, but I’m glad he is in there early. I was kinda hoping Jerome Couplin would be in there as well, but he’s not. I don’t know if that’s by choice or the coaches limit who can be there. Reynolds needs every rep possible. He’s got to show something this summer. He is exactly the kind of Safety I think the Eagles need…a centerfielder/ballhawk type…but he’s got to play well. There are no excuses at this point. He’s got to show NFL ability. I hope he does. Would be a nice boost to the Safety position.
Eagles Wake-Up Call: A Maclin Draft What-If - Birds 24/7
It would have had an interesting domino effect, Rich. If the Eagles had re-signed Jeremy Maclin, it seems reasonable to assume they wouldn’t have signed DeMarco Murray. And wide receiver would not have been a priority in the early rounds. A long-term contract for Maclin, in addition to Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff being on their rookie deals, would have meant the Eagles were pretty much set at wide receiver. In other words, they would not have drafted Nelson Agholor in the first round. So who would they have taken, assuming they stayed at No. 20?
Del Val grad takes his shot at making Eagles - Inquirer
Rasheed Bailey knows the odds. He knows the NFL deck is not necessarily stacked to deal him a winning hand. That's fine. He's dealt with long odds before, and look where he is now. "I have that drive, that passion, everything that Philly is," said Bailey, a wide receiver from Delaware Valley University signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent. "I wear a chip on my shoulder coming from a small school, and having been a fan to now being a player, I wear it every day."
Rowe, Agholor battle each other on field, harbor same visions - CSN Philly
After just one practice, Nelson Agholor felt like he sampled the kind of press coverage he expects to see at the NFL level. After just one day, Eric Rowe believed he gained a better understanding of the perimeter speed and quickness he’ll grapple with this season. Agholor and Rowe, the Eagles’ top two picks in last week’s NFL draft, are participating in this weekend’s rookie camp, experiencing life as an NFL player for the first time, using each practice as an opportunity for self improvement and preparation for the 2015 season.
Rookie Camp Offers Sample Of Future - PE.com
Nelson Agholor wants to get knocked down, metaphorically speaking, so that he can get up and be stronger and better. He's having that kind of experience in his first taste of NFL football at the Rookie Minicamp at the NovaCare Complex ...
2016 NFL Mock Draft - Rotoworld
19. Philadelphia Eagles - G Nick Martin, Notre Dame - The Eagles have one of the oldest offensive lines in the NFL and their depth might be questioned in 2015. Martin, Zack’s brother, will have experience at G and C before leaving Notre Dame.
Jameis Winston files counterclaim to sexual assault lawsuit - SB Nation
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has filed a response and counterclaim to the lawsuit filed against him over an alleged sexual assault. The original lawsuit was filed on April 16 by Erica Kinsman, who accused Winston of sexual assault in Dec. 2012. The counterclaim was filed in federal court as Winston recently filed a motion to remove the lawsuit from state to federal court, claiming the diversity of citizenship and amount in controversy requirements had been satisfied.
