Back in early March, former NFL executive and current NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt said he knew who the Philadelphia Eagles were going to select in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
I know #Eagles 1st pick in draft. Sealed name in envelope, mailed to colleague @Andy_Fenelon. To be opened 4/30. pic.twitter.com/PJfGYTVZxe

Well, it looks like he wasn't wrong.
Was caught in a draft, @Gil_Brandt. Forgot all about it. Just opened. I think you did ok. #EaglesPick pic.twitter.com/iNCTosOfSW

Impressive. This took place before the Eagles brought Agholor in for a pre-draft visit or gave him a private workout, too.
Then again, it wasn't really that surprising of a pick. The Eagles needed a wide receiver after losing Jeremy Maclin and Agholor fits Chip Kelly's Pac-12 bias.
I'd like to toot my own horn here and say that I was convinced Agholor was a Chip guy back in March as well.
After watching this Nelson Agholor interview, can’t imagine how Chip won’t be all over this guy. https://t.co/RPtEWmr6kF

But this post isn't about me. In any case, nice job, Gil.
Or should I say ... Gilluminati?!
