So it looks like that "rumor" Mike Florio was talking about earlier involving the Eagles and the Buccaneers wasn't untrue.
According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Eagles have reached out to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers about the No. 1 overall pick. The pick would obviously be used to help Philadelphia draft Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Unable to make deal so far with #Titans, I'm told #Eagles have inquired with #Bucs about the No. 1 pick, presumably for Marcus Mariota

As for Chip Kelly's determination to acquire Marcus Mariota, league sources say Eagles offense can only be great with him at QB

If true, wow! No word on what a deal would look like.
The Eagles are seemingly reaching out to Tampa Bay because they're having trouble negotiating with the Titans for the No. 2 pick.
As I mentioned earlier, maybe the Buccaneers are one of the teams from that report indicating the teams at the top of the 2015 NFL Draft order are interested in Sam Bradford over Mariota and Jameis Winston?
STAY TUNED.
