Eagles fans aren't the only people who want to see Marcus Mariota end up in Philadelphia.
According to a report from Sal Paolantonio in an appearance on ESPN, Mariota's father, Toa Mariota, also wants his son to be drafted by the Eagles.
"I also heard from a number of people within the Mariota camp that Mariota’s father, Toa, has been telling friends and family that he would like to see his son reunited with Chip Kelly, drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles."
It's not a surprise that Toa Mariota would want to see his son reunited with a coach who he had so much success with.
However, it is interesting that Sal Pal is hearing that members of Mariota's camp believe the Eagles are still in play for the Oregon quarterback.
A "member of the Mariota camp" told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio that he thinks the #Eagles remain "serious" contenders to trade up to No. 2.
