Eagles Schedule Leak 2015: Philadelphia will play Giants in Week 17 season finale

Here's the first Eagles schedule leak.

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

According to a report from Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants will face off in the final week of the 2015 regular season.

The game is set to take place on Sunday, January 3, 2016. No start time has been revealed, but it's possible kickoff could get flexed anyway.

These two rivals also played each other in the 2014 finale. The Eagles won that game by a final score of 34-26. This time around, the game will reportedly take place in Philadelphia instead of New York New Jersey.

The Eagles beat the G-Men twice last year. Along with the victory in the season finale, the Birds dominated New York in a 27-0 shutout in Week 6. Chip Kelly's Eagles are 3-1 in four games against the Giants.

This season finale game could potentially have significant playoff implications depending on how the teams fare in 2015.

No word on when the first Eagles-Giants meeting in 2015 will take place.
