Back when the Eagles hired Chip Kelly in 2013, there was a PDF of the "2011 Coach of the Year Clinics Football Manual" floating around the web. A free version used to be hosted on Fishduck.com but it's no longer available.

Anyway, I bring this up because, looking back now, there was an interesting quote in there:
"We are not a Tim Tebow type of quarterback team."
Out of context, this looks hilarious now since the Eagles just signed Tebow. But here's the full context:
"I look for a quarterback who can run and not a running back who can throw. I want a quarterback who can beat you with his arm. We are not a Tim Tebow type of quarterback team. I am not going to run my quarterback 20 times on power runs."
He also added:
"lf I had a Tim Tebow, l might change my mind. You do not find the 6-foot-4, 240-pound, 4.6 quarterbacks too many times."
So maybe Kelly is going to change the Eagles offense after all! OK, probably not.
