Eagles fans are exhausted from Marcus Mariota trade speculation

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you're easily aware that this Eagles offseason has been dominated with discussion of a certain former Oregon Ducks player and whether or not he'll be on the team's roster in 2015. Yes, the big question is: will exclusive-rights free agent Jeff Maehl return to Philadelphia?

Wait, no, that's not it. The REAL question, of course, is: will Marcus Mariota find his way to the Philadelphia Eagles?

It's a question without an answer for now as we wait for the 2015 NFL Draft. There are some fans who want Mariota. There are other who don't. But we're not here today to debate Mariota because that topic has already been beaten to death. Which actually brings me to the point of this post...

Eagles fans are exhausted of the Mariota talk. This isn't surprising by any means. But just how exhausted are they? Well, our friends over at r/Eagles have actually set up a "Mariota-free" section of their site.

Perhaps unfortunately for yourself, BGN isn't able to offer the same feature. But I'd argue you should just get used to the Mariota talk anyway, because it's not going away any time soon. Even if another team drafts him, I can't help but imagine there will still be trade rumors that will pop up if/when he struggles. If you don't believe me, just take a look at all those old Dion Jordan rumors and magnify the intensity due to the nature of the QB position.

That said, those rumors probably won't be as frequent/intense/annoying as they are now. The draft is only 18 days away so at least there's somewhat of an end in sight.
