According to Rand Getlin of Yahoo! Sports, the Eagles are making a strong push for Maxwell. It sounds like they could be the favorites to land the free agent corner, which shouldn't come as a surprise based on earlier reports.
"No one will be surprised if it happens, but a source indicates the Eagles are definitely out in front for CB Byron Maxwell."
As for McCourty, Yahoo!'s Charles Robinson is reporting that he is a "top priority" for the Eagles. This report falls in line with the sentiment that Philadelphia is "going all in on" the free agent safety. Robinson also notes that the Patriots are still trying to keep him.
"A league source says the Eagles have made safety Devin McCourty a top priority. Patriots still want him back."

Neither of these players will come cheap. If you don't believe me, just take a look at what the Houston Texans spent on would-be free agent Kareem Jackson: $34 million over four years with $20 million guaranteed. The Eagles have plenty of cap room to spend with over $50 million to work with, but they may have to prioritize here.
If the Eagles can pick one and only one, which player do you want them to sign?
