Marcus Mariota to the Eagles? Oddsmakers don't think it will happen [UPDATE]

Are you willing to bet on whether Marcus Mariota will be a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015? If so, I have some good news for you. Bovada recenty released the following odds:

Will Marcus Mariota be on the Eagles Roster for game 1 of the 2015 Regular Season?

Yes +400 (4/1)
No -700 (1/7)

If you're not familiar with gambling odds, here's what this means: you have to bet $700 on "No" in order to win $100. If you do you think the Eagles are going to get Mariota, on the other hand, you can bet $100 to win $400.

Now, I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money, but I do think the "Yes" is an interesting bet given the recent moves made by the Eagles. Recent reports indicate that the Eagles are "determined" to make a strong play for the Oregon quarterback. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer recently reportedly that NFL sources believe that "a trade with one of the teams with a high draft pick could be on the horizon." As of this week, a report emerged that the Jets will trade their No. 6 overall pick to the Eagles if Mariota falls to that spot in the draft.

At the same time, it's hard to see how the Eagles might be able to move up from their current pick at No. 20 to get him.

So what do you think?

UPDATE: The line has already moved towards the chance of the Eagles landing Mariota more likely.

UPDATE #2: Now you can't even bet on the "Yes" option.

UPDATE #3: Bovada took the bet off the board entirely! (Read more here.)
