2015 NFL Draft: Chip Kelly attends LSU pro day to watch Jalen Collins, La'el Collins, others

The Eagles were in attendance to watch LSU's top 2015 draft prospects at their pro day.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Just one day after being spotted in Salt Lake City, Utah for the Utes' pro day, Chip Kelly is back on the road again. This time the Eagles coach was spotted at LSU's pro day on Friday. The Tigers have a few players that could be of interest to the Eagles. Here are some names that stand out the most.

Jalen Collins, CB

Collins is a 22-year-old cornerback who measures in at 6-1, 203 pounds. The redshirt junior played in 38 games for LSU but made just 10 starts. Seven of those 10 came in 2014. Collins finished his Tigers career with 90 tackles, three interceptions, and 19 passes defensed.

Collins fits the physical profile of what Eagles like in their outside cornerbacks. He's tall, long, and athletic. NFL draft guru Mike Mayock thinks Collins make sense for Philadelphia. According to Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting, the Eagles view Collins highly. For what it's worth, Collins is projected to be a Day 2 pick.

The concerns with Collins, however, include his limited playing experience. He's raw and it shows on tape. NFL media's Lance Zierlein claims Collins is a "work in progress" but has a "very high ceiling."

La'el Collins, OL

Collins measures in at 6-4, 305 pounds. The 21-year-old senior has the versatility to multiple positions on the offensive line. He played at left tackle for LSU but could be a guard or right tackle in the NFL. Zierlein thinks Collins "could come in and start right away in a power-running game as a guard." CBS Sports ranks Collins as their No. 11 overall prospect. The Eagles have a need at guard at Collins could be a mauler for them.

Here's Collins' spider chart as an OG instead of an OT:

Danielle Hunter, EDGE

Hunter is a 6-5, 252 pound defensive end who could be a 3-4 rush linebacker in the NFL. The 20-year-old junior finished his college career with 142 tackles, 4.5 sacks, eight passes defensed, and two forced fumbles. Zierlein thinks Hunter's "pass-rush instincts are marginal" and he needs good coaching to maximize his athleticism. CBS Sports projects Hunter as a Day 2 pick.

Here's Hunter's spider chart as an OLB instead of DE:

Other players at LSU's pro day include: OLB Kwon Alexander, RB Terrance Magee, DE Jemauria Rasco, FB Conner Neighbors, SS Ronald Martin, RB Kenny Hilliard, TE Travis Dickson, C Elliott Porter, and OG Hoko Fanaika.
