It's no secret that Heath Evans doesn't like the Eagles. The former NFL fullback and current NFL Network analyst has said a lot of dumb things about them. The dumbest, of course, was this:
Heath Evans: "I am going on the record calling Chip Kelly one of the worst hires in pro football history." http://t.co/JAxmK4V0

But now he's back at it. Here's Evans taking shots at the Eagles on his Twitter account.
@jessicaspov let me apologize 4all classy @Eagles fans 4the way @KnightLIYM has spoken to u. PSA: all fake tough guys direct your hate 2me!
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 22, 2015
@iamTFawesome @KnightLIYM Eagles/Falcons..does it really matter? Two teams not winning a Championship anytime soon!
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 23, 2015
@TheZompster They don't play complimentary football! The Offense is consistently putting the def in bad FB situations. #SystemIsFlawed
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 23, 2015
@Nelson81 Nope....but every SB champ since 2007 has used a FB. It's called toughness. Something your @Eagles team knows nothing about.
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 23, 2015
Philadelphia safety Malcolm Jenkins, Evans' former teammate with the New Orleans Saints, took offense to the comment about the Eagles not being tough.
"@HeathEvans44: Nope...It's called toughness. Something your @Eagles team knows nothing about." That's a bold statement ... Please elaborate
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
Evans elaborated:
@MalcolmJenkins If U follow my take on Chips sys, it's more an indictment on the offense. It constantly puts the team/esp the D in bad poss
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 24, 2015
@MalcolmJenkins The off lacks toughness in critical down/distance which constantly throws the Def in impossible situations. I know ur a team
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 24, 2015
@MalcolmJenkins first guy so I know your public stance will b n support but you also know how complimentary our 09 team was & Chips offense
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 24, 2015
@MalcolmJenkins compliments no one.
— Heath Evans (@HeathEvans44) March 24, 2015
Jenkins responded to the response:
@HeathEvans44 I would argue that our 09 offense was the same. The difference was we took the ball away on D better than anyone in the NFL.
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 the only time this defense gets put in a bad situation is when we turn the ball over. But that's the same league wide
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 is the system unorthodox? Definitely! Is it flawed? Not any more than every other offense in the league.
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 two years ago the Broncos had the best offense ever. They ran into Seattle and everyone jumped ship. Every scheme has holes
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 but like you said... I'd never say anything that would reflect bad on my team so my opinion is definitely bias.
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 but who better to tell you about the stresses of playing on the Eagles D than me? Lol
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
@HeathEvans44 but I digressed. My issue was the "toughness" Check our run offense and run defense stats. That is the measure of toughness
— Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 24, 2015
Conclusions:
1) Jenkins continues to be very good at Twitter.
2)
