2015 NFL Draft: Chip Kelly attends Michigan State's pro day to watch Trae Waynes and more

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The bulk of 2015 NFL free agency is over which means Chip Kelly has time to resume his pro day tour. The Eagles coach was most recently spotted at the workout taking place at Michigan State on Wednesday. The Spartans have a few players that could be of interest to the Eagles.nam Here are some es that stand out the most.

Trae Waynes, CB

Eagles fans are no stranger to Waynes. He's largely considered to be the top cornerback prospect in the entire class. Philadelphia arguably filled their immediate need at corner by signing Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond but they could still afford to think about the future of the position.

Waynes is a 6-0, 186 pound redshirt junior. The 22-year-old finished his three-year college career with 101 tackles, 1.5 sacks, six interceptions, and 13 passes defensed.

Waynes impressed at the 2015 NFL Combine with his blazing speed. He ran the 40-yard-dash in a mere 4.31 seconds back in February. He didn't run the 40 at his pro day but he did reportedly turn in an impressive performance.

Kurtis Drummond, S

The Eagles need a safety so Drummond is obviously worth mentioning. The 6-0, 205 pound senior reportedly met with the Eagles for an interview at the 2015 Senior Bowl.

Drummond finished his career with 233 tackles, one sack, 12 interceptions, 24 passes defensed, and three forced fumbles.
