Sam Bradford knows he has a lot to prove to the Eagles

Newly acquired Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford made his first Philadelphia media appearance on Wednesday afternoon and I have to say I came away pretty impressed. I've never really watched Bradford speak before so I wasn't sure what he was going to be like, but he handled questions well. Check out the press conference for yourself and tell me he's not at least a little bit endearing.

Of course, no one really cares about this kind of thing if the on-field performance isn't good. There are a lot of people out there doubting Bradford (myself included) and there's no question that he has a lot to prove. This is something he knows himself.

Bradford said he'll be healthy by the time training camp begins in late July. He's expecting to compete with Mark Sanchez for the starting job. Sanchez may have a leg up at first due to being experienced in the system, but the money and assets that the Eagles are dedicating to Bradford clearly indicate he's the guy... at least for 2015. And if (a big if, at that) he can stay healthy.

Here are some of the other topics Bradford touched on.

Rehab Process

When he first knew he'd be coming to Philly

Recruiting DeMarco Murray

Familiarity with the Eagles offense due to Oklahoma's offense

Fitting in Philadelphia
