The Eagles may have a solution for their opening at starting running back. In the midst of all the Foles-Bradford noise, the team and Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray are showing interest in each other, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Philadelphia is looking for a new starting running back after trading LeSean McCoy to Buffalo and being passed over by Frank Gore for the Colts. Murray would obviously be a starter if he were to sign with the Eagles and the move would likely hurt the Cowboys as well. Murray led the league in rushing yards last season and was essentially the Cowboys biggest weapon. His performance down the stretch of the season helped get the Cowboys into the postseason.
It will be interesting to see if the Eagles can snag Murray who is being chased by several teams, including the Cowboys, Raiders and Jaguars.
