Local sports bloggers trying to find winning business models - Philadelphia Business Journal
In his first year as editor, Gowton said page views increased 93 percent to just below 30 million with an audience demographic largely between 18 to 27 years old. To put that into perspective, Inquirer sports editor John Quinn said sports generated more than 50 million page views last year on Philly.com. So one 23-year-old generates 60 percent of the page views of the entire Philly.com sports operation, which includes content from three different newsrooms. And the audience demographic is largely 18 to 27 years old.

Todd Herremans is the most normal of the trio, since he isn’t a freak athlete and has been a starter for almost a decade. His body is wearing down a bit. 2015 could be his final season. There is no need to panic, but the Eagles do need some youth in the mix at OL. Matt Tobin showed potential in 2014, but also struggled at times. He can get better now that he’s got a full offseason to work on the holes in his game.

My biggest concern with him is how he reacts to pressure and imperfect circumstances. The problem is the offensive line isn't always going to be healthy, and the running game isn't always going to be clicking. The way Foles reacted when put in those tough situations last season is worrisome, and in addition to the turnovers, he didn't see the field well at times. If he's not performing at an elite level in terms of decision-making, Foles is in trouble because he is not gifted physically.

During a recent trip to London, and an interaction with soccer fans, the famous Dallas Cowboys fan was quoted as saying that he will not be taking on Eagles fans (or any Philadelphia sports fans) again.

What do those fancy sports titles really mean? - Inquirer
Starting with the Eagles, it would have been easy to conclude that Howie Roseman's transition from General Manager to Executive Vice President of Football Operations was really a demotion. But take a look. The new title has three more capitalized words and that's not even counting the lowercase "of."
