Today we continue the 2015 February edition of Philadelphia Eagles approval polls with Howie Roseman. Don't forget to vote in the Chip Kelly approval poll from Monday and the Bill Davis approval poll from Tuesday if you missed out on those.
Must Reads
The former Eagles GM was "promoted" (see: demoted, but with a salary raise) last month from general manager to Executive Vice President of Football Operations. Here's how the Eagles listed his new job description:
"[Roseman] will continue directing contract negotiations, salary cap management, and NFL strategic matters, while overseeing the team’s medical staff, equipment staff and more."
Since Roseman hasn't had much time to carry out the responsibilities of his new job, this poll is once again more about whether you approve of his new role. Last time this poll was taken in January, Roseman only finished with a 39% approval rating.
His lack of popularity has been reflected in the media. Roseman came under fire recently in a radio interview with former Eagles scout Louis Riddick:
"Well I think what’s happened is that now it’s the way it should have been for a long time. Let’s put it that way. Now it has finally gotten… let’s just say it’s been cleaned up. And now the people who are doing what they should be doing are doing what they should be doing. And the people who shouldn’t be doing what they are doing are no longer doing it."
CSN Philly's Reuben Frank wrote a piece about why Roseman needs to go.
So, do you approve of the job Howie Roseman is doing as Executive Vice President of Football Operations of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
