The Philadelphia Eagles returned to practice today for the first time since their big win over the New England Patriots. Keep in mind Tuesday is typically a light session. Here's a full update on the team's injury situation.
Ryan Mathews
Mathews returned to practice on Tuesday for the first time since suffering a concussion in Week 11. Mathews has also been listed on the injury report with a groin injury. Mathews told reporters he expects to play in this week's Eagles-Bills game. Getting Mathews back would be very good for the Eagles. He's clearly been their best rusher this season. He's gained 427 yards and five touchdowns on 74 carries for a 5.8 average.
With DeMarco Murray seemingly being benched and reportedly complaining about his role, the Eagles could look to give Mathews the bulk of the team's carries.
Speaking of Murray, by the way, he declined to speak with reporters on Tuesday. He said he'll speak after practice on Thursday, which is when he's usually scheduled to speak.
Lane Johnson
Johnson sat out of Tuesday's practice due to an AC shoulder sprain he suffered in the Eagles-Lions game, but he said he expects to return tomorrow.
Eric Rowe
The rookie cornerback didn't participate in practice due to an ankle sprain. Rowe said he's unsure if he'll return on Wednesday.
Bennie Logan
The Eagles added Logan to the team's injury report on Sunday morning with a knee injury but he ended up playing in the game anyway. Perhaps this was a rest day for the team's starting nose tackle.

The Eagles will release their first official Week 14 injury report tomorrow on Wednesday.
