The Philadelphia Eagles' Week 15 game against the Arizona Cardinals has been flexed to Sunday Night Football, according to a release from the NFL.
The game was originally slated to start at 1 PM ET on FOX, but now it will air on NBC starting at 8:30 PM ET. In a corresponding move, the NFL flexed the Cincinnati Bengals versus San Francisco 49ers game to a 4 PM start.
The NFL obviously feels like the Eagles-Cardinals game will be a better matchup. The Cardinals are currently one of the best teams in the NFL right now with a 10-2 record. The 5-7 Eagles aren't so good, but their season is still alive after Philadelphia managed to beat the New England Patriots.
The Eagles already played twice on Sunday Night Football: once against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7 and once against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.
The Eagles are scheduled to host the game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, Dec. 20. Here is the entire Eagles' remaining schedule:
Week 14 - Buffalo Bills (Dec. 13, 1:00 PM, CBS)
Week 15 - Arizona Cardinals (Dec. 20, 8:30 PM, NBC)
Week 16 - Washington Redskins (Dec. 26, 8:25 PM, NFL Network) *Saturday*
Week 17 - @ New York Giants (Jan. 3, 1:00 PM, FOX)
