ESPN Monday Night Football is here to wrap up Week 13 of the 2015 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys (3-8) are in Landover, Maryland to take on the Washington Redskins (5-6). It's a matchup between two NFC East rivals. The Cowboys are mathematically still alive in the division, so they have reason to fight for this win.
The Eagles really need a Washington loss tonight. If that happens, the NFC East standings would look like this:
1) Washington Redskins - 5-7
2) Philadelphia Eagles - 5-7
3) New York Giants - 5-7
4) Dallas Cowboys - 4-8
Washington would still be in first because they have a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Eagles. Note that the Birds play Washington again this season in Week 16. The G-Men are in third since the Eagles have a direct tiebreaker over them. The Eagles play the Giants in Week 17.
Philadelphia is somehow still alive in the NFC East after beating the Patriots on Sunday evening. Now the Eagles need help from Dallas to make their playoff odds even better.
