Bill Davis doesn't think Eagles will keep him as defensive coordinator

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Bill Davis spoke to reporters prior to the team's practice on Wednesday afternoon. Due to the news of Chip Kelly's firing, he doesn't seem to be too optimistic about his chances of returning to the Eagles in 2016.

Even if Kelly wasn't fired, there was obviously a chance Davis was in jeopardy. Despite getting off to a strong start, Philadelphia's defense collapsed down the stretch. In fairness to Davis, it wasn't all his fault. Kelly's offense couldn't stay on the field and it led the NFL in turnovers over the past two years. That put extra pressure on the defense.

Davis won't be the only victim of the Eagles' head coaching change. The new coach will likely want his own crew of hand-picked assistants.
