The Philadelphia Eagles announced their game day inactive list in advance of their 2015 NFL Week 16 match versus the Washington Redskins.
The Eagles will be without two key players on defense. Starting cornerback Byron Maxwell and starting nose tackle Bennie Logan are both out. With Maxwell out, E.J. Biggers is starting at cornerback. Oh boy. Jaylen Watkins might get some playing time. Denzel Rice is also active. Logan is likely to be replaced by backup defensive lineman Beau Allen. Cedric Thornton and/or Fletcher Cox could also see some snaps at nose tackle, which means more playing time for Taylor Hart and Brandon Bair at defensive end. Bair is active for the first time since Week 3.
Special teams ace Seyi Ajirotutu is out due to injury. Jonathan Krause is active in his place.
The Eagles kept all four running backs active yet again.
