Eagles Injury Report: Jordan Matthews limited, Byron Maxwell expects to play

A Wednesday update on the Eagles' Week 15 injury situation.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report in advance of their Week 15 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Starting slot receiver Jordan Matthews returned to practice after sitting out on Tuesday. Matthews was limited. He's still dealing with a back issue.

Byron Maxwell sat out of practice for the second straight day on Wednesday. He's dealing with an ankle injury suffered in Philadelphia's win over the Bills. Maxwell played through the entire game with the injury and he told reporters he expects to play this week. He plans to return to practice on Thursday. Maxwell will have a tough test against the Cardinals' receivers.
