Jordan Matthews added to Eagles-Bills injury report

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles added Jordan Matthews to the injury report ahead of their Week 14 game against the Buffalo Bills. Matthews, who was a full participant in practice all week, is now being listed as questionable to play. Matthews is listed with a back injury.

Seeing Matthews added to the injury report, especially this late in the week, certainly isn't ideal for the Eagles. The second-year receiver leads the team in targets (95), receptions (61), and yards (661). His four touchdowns are also the most of any offensive skill player. If Matthews can't play or is limited, the Eagles could have to rely more on the likes of Nelson Agholor, Josh Huff, Riley Cooper, Seyi Ajirotutu, and Jonathan Krause. None of those receivers have done much good this season.

Matthews' injury status shouldn't necessarily cause panic. The Eagles added starting nose tackle Bennie Logan to the injury report last Sunday and he played in the game just a few hours later. Still, it's a concern.

The good news for the Eagles is that no one else outside of Matthews is worse than probable. Here's a recap of the full Eagles-Bills injury report.
