It appears former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho is rejoining the team, according to several tweets from his official Twitter account.

The team has not officially confirmed his signing yet. The Eagles had an open roster spot after placing talented rookie Jordan Hicks on the season-ending injured reserve list on Monday afternoon.
Philadelphia waived/injured Acho in late August after the linebacker suffered a thumb injury that required him to have surgery. Since the Eagles used the waived/injured designation, Acho wasn't able to re-sign with the Eagles until only recently. So the timing worked out very well for both sides in this case.
Acho is a good personality and a serviceable backup who can contribute on special teams. The 24-year-old linebacker played in 14 games with Philadelphia last season after originally being acquired by the Eagles during the 2013 offseason.
