Ryan Mathews and Kiko Alonso active, Nelson Agholor out for Eagles-Cowboys game

The Philadelphia Eagles announced their game day inactive list in advance of their 2015 NFL Week 9 match versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Kiko Alonso is ACTIVE for the first time since Week 2. It remains to be seen how many snaps he'll play. The Eagles are still expected to start Mychal Kendricks and Jordan Hicks at inside linebacker, so Alonso will be rotating in.

Speaking of inside linebackers, veteran DeMeco Ryans has been ruled INACTIVE. Ryans hasn't played since the team's Week 6 game. He was ruled questionable heading into this matchup.

Starting left tackle Jason Peters is inactive after being ruled out on Saturday. Lane Johnson will start in place of Peters with Dennis Kelly starting at right tackle.

Running back Ryan Mathews is active despite missing practice time this week due to a lingering groin injury. It remains to be seen if his injury will impact his workload like it did in the Carolina game.

Rookie wide receiver Nelson Agholor is out despite being a full participant in practice all week. Agholor was listed as questionable to play on the final injury report. Josh Huff will start in Agholor's place.

Backup offensive lineman Tanner Hawkinson is active for the first time in his Eagles career. Philadelphia signed him from the 49ers' practice squad a few weeks ago.

Veteran linebacker Brad Jones is a healthy scratch for the first time this year.
