The Philadelphia Eagles had a really good bye week. Not only did they get to enjoy watching the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants lose, but the Eagles returned to practice on Tuesday with most players healthy and ready to go. Keep in mind Tuesday is typically a light session. Here's a full update on the team's injury situation.
Jason Peters
The team's starting left tackle was the only player who did not fully practice. He left the team's Week 7 game against the Panthers early due to back spasms and did not return. Peters did warm up with the team on Tuesday, which seems like a good sign. Chip Kelly said he hopes Peters is able to return to training on Wednesday.
Kiko Alonso
Alonso told reporters his knee feels great and he expects to play. Alonso hasn't played since Week 2. It remains to be seen how the Eagles will use him in rotation with their other inside linebackers.
DeMeco Ryans
Ryans sat out of Philadelphia's Week 7 game due to a hamstring injury. The veteran linebacker practiced on Tuesday.
Nelson Agholor
Agholor returned to practice for the first time since leaving Philadelphia's Week 5 game early with an ankle injury. The team's rookie first round pick told reporters he's planning to play this week.
Ryan Mathews
In his last press conference before the bye, Kelly revealed Mathews suffered a groin injury in the Panthers game. On Tuesday, Mathews told reporters he's healthy and will play against Dallas.
Jordan Matthews
Matthews reportedly suffered a hand injury at some point this season, which may have been leading to his drops. Matthews told reporters he's not injured and he can't make excuses.
