The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report in advance of their Week 12 game against the Detroit Lions.
The big news is that Sam Bradford returned to practice, as noted earlier. He was only a limited participant, however, and it seems like Mark Sanchez is still the favorite to start.
Three players did not practice: Zach Ertz, Ryan Mathews, and Cedric Thornton. Ertz suffered a concussion against the Buccaneers and is reportedly out for Thursday's game. If he can't play, the Eagles will have to rely on Brent Celek and Trey Burton. Mathews hasn't return to practice since suffering a concussion in Week 10. Thornton suffered an ankle injury on Sunday and left the game early before returning.
Starting left tackle Jason Peters was a limited participant in Monday's session. He started in Week 11 after being a game time decision, but he left the game once it was clear the Eagles had no shot of winning. It seems like the team is trying to rest him when they can.
