An update on the Eagles' Week 5 injury situation.

The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report in advance of their Week 5 game against the New Orleans Saints.

The big news is that Jason Peters and Byron Maxwell returned to practice after sitting out on Wednesday. Both players were full participants. After practice, Peters told the media he is going to play this weekend. Maxwell also has said multiple times that he is going to suit up.

Kiko Alonso, Mychal Kendricks, and Brandon Bair are the players who sat out of Thursday's practice. None of them are expected to play this week.

Although Alonso won't play, he did speak to reporters about his injury status.

Elsewhere, starting defensive end Cedric Thornton and rotational backup Taylor Hart practiced fully for the second straight day. That seems to bode well for their chances of returning to action this week.
