A lot of people have already given up on this 2015 Philadelphia Eagles season after the team has started 1-3. According to a poll here at Bleeding Green Nation with 7,200 voters weighing in, 70% of Eagles fans think this team is "done."
Some optimists might point out that the Eagles are only one game out of the weak NFC East, but that really isn't true. Even if all the other NFC East teams lose this week and the Eagles win, Philadelphia will still be in dead last due to the division tiebreaker.
But maybe there's hope after all. According to ESPN's FPI playoff projections, the Eagles somehow still have the best chance to win the NFC East.

If you don't know what NFL FPI is all about, you can read more about it here. Here's a brief description from ESPN:
"At its core, NFL FPI is a prediction system for the NFL. Each team's FPI rating is composed of a predicted offensive, defensive and special teams efficiency, as measured by expected points added per play, and that rating is the basis for FPI's game-level and season-level projections."
Not all playoff predictions models are as favorable to the Eagles. The Football Outsiders formula, for example, gives the Eagles only the third best odds of winning the NFC East at 23.6%.
One thing is for sure: the Eagles won't be come close to even sniffing the playoffs if the team continues to struggle on offense like they have so far. This team seriously needs to step up, and they need to do it fast.
