A number of key Philadelphia Eagles played suffered injuries during the team's 23-20 loss to the Washington Redskins in Week 4. Starting left tackle Jason Peters, starting cornerback Byron Maxwell, and starting inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks were among those who left the game early and did not return. According to a report from Howard Eskin, there is a chance these players return for Week 5.
DT Brandon Bair could miss some time w #Eagles. Others lost during game. Maxwell, Kendricks and Peters should b back next week. If they push

As Eskin also notes, defensive end Brandon Bair might miss some time. That's bad news for the Eagles considering starting defensive end Cedric Thornton and primary backup Taylor Hart are also dealing with injury issues. Thornton and Hart returned to practice last week and were limited, so perhaps they are close to returning.
Another key injury to note is the status of Lane Johnson. Philadelphia's starting right tackle left the game early but did return. After the game, Johnson said he re-injured his MCL. Johnson originally suffered the injury during Week 3 of the preseason. He will undergo an MRI on Monday.
Lane Johnson will have a MRI on his knee tomorrow. He said he re-injured MCL. Sounds like just a sprain. #Eagles

The Eagles can't really afford more offensive line injuries with Peters already banged up at left tackle and starting right guard Andrew Gardner out for the year. Philadelphia's starters aren't playing well to begin with, so the depth behind them is even less encouraging.
