The aren't many silver linings to take away from the Philadelphia Eagles' 27 to 16 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football. But if there's at least one, it's the fact that starting left tackle Jason Peters isn't seriously injured. Peters told multiple reporters he plans to return after the Eagles' Week 8 bye.

Peters left the Eagles-Panthers game early after going down with a non-contact injury. It didn't look good when he had to be carted off the field, but it was later announced that Peters "only" suffered back spasms and not something more serious.
Peters has been playing banged up for most of the season. The 33-year-old blocker has left the field multiple times with various injuries. If Peters is to be taken at his word, the veteran will be starting at left tackle when the Eagles resume their 2015 regular season schedule in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys.
