The Philadelphia Eagles 2015 NFL schedule continues on Sunday night as the team is scheduled to play the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. It's an NFC matchup.
At a perfect 5-0, the Panthers are one of five undefeated teams in the NFL. The Panthers might be viewed as the weakest of those teams, however. Carolina hasn't exactly had a ton of tough games on their schedule so far. The Eagles are the toughest opponent they will face to this point, and vice versa.
This game will be a big test for the Eagles' offense, which has been making progress in recent weeks. Can Philadelphia keep it going against a tough Carolina defense? The Eagles likely won't be able to win another game where Sam Bradford throws three interceptions, so it's really up to the quarterback to limit his mistakes against the Panthers' highly-ranked pass defense. This could be a game where the Eagles especially need to rely on their run game with DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, and Darren Sproles.
Philadelphia's defense will have the challenge of going up against Cam Newton. The Eagles sacked Newton a total of nine times in 2014. While that total is unlikely to be repeated, the Eagles' defense can still be counted on to give a good showing. The Eagles defense ranks No. 3 overall by Football Outsiders. Philly is especially good at stopping the run, which happens to be Carolina's strength.
Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
