Eagles Injury Report: Mychal Kendricks is nearing a return to the field

An update on the Eagles' Week 7 injury situation.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report in advance of their Week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers.

There are no surprised because there are no changes from Wednesday's injury report.

Starting wide receivers Riley Cooper and Nelson Agholor are still out. The fact that they've missed two days in a row doesn't seem to bode well for their playing chances. If neither player can suit up, the Eagles will really need to rely on the likes of Jordan Matthews, Josh Huff, and Miles Austin. Seyi Ajirotutu could also get more playing time. The Eagles might be forced to use more two tight end sets against Carolina's formidable pass defense.

Mychal Kendricks was a full participant in practice for the second day, which seems to bode well for his playing chances. The Eagles might need Kendricks if DeMeco Ryans, who missed Thursday's practice, can't suit up. Ryans told reporters he's not sure if he will play this week.

Kiko Alonso was limited in practice yet again. The linebacker is still aiming to return to action after the Eagles' Week 8 bye.
