Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Rasheed Bailey is back in the NFL. One week after signing with the practice squad of the Canadian Football League's BC Lions, Bailey is now a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bailey signed with Jacksonville's practice squad on Tuesday. Note that the Jaguars are tied for the worst record in the NFL this season at 1-5.

This is Bailey's first NFL opportunity since the Eagles released him in early September. It's good to see the local product getting a shot. Despite not keeping him on the roster or signing him to the Eagles' practice squad, Chip Kelly said he thinks Bailey has a bright future.
Bailey certainly isn't the first former Eagles fan favorite to sign to Jacksonville's practice squad. Last year, Henry Josey spent time with the Jaguars before eventually being signed away by the Minnesota Vikings. Josey currently plays in the CFL.
