Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

10 things we learned from the Eagles' win - BGN
Just when it looked like Bradford was starting to make some progress in recent weeks, he looked awful once again on Monday night. Bradford finished with 24 completions on 38 attempts for 280 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions, and a 61.3 passer rating. His lack of accuracy is a huge problem. He struggled to hit wide open receivers on routine throws. It has to be really frustrating for Chip Kelly to have another quarterback who can't even manage to be merely competent. This team just isn't a real contender if Bradford continues to play this poorly.

But there was more bad than good from the QB in a game truly won by the Eagles' defense. "No. No. That's not even a question," Bradford said when asked if he was satisfied with his night. "Just inconsistent, missed some throws. There was some good, there was some bad. But I know for us to be where we want to be I've got to play much better."

If the Eagles somehow sneak into the playoffs by winning the terrible NFC East, they aren't going anywhere with Sam Bradford playing anywhere near as badly as he has this season. On the season, he has thrown four INTs in the end zone. Is that bad? The INT he threw to Landon Collins when trying to get the ball to Zach Ertz was awful. Collins had blanket coverage on Ertz, and the Eagles were in field goal range with a 17-point lead. And Bradford was basically like, "Ah screw it, I'm chucking this up anyway."

Ultimately, that's what it's all about – winning games. And the Eagles managed that Monday night. But there are no illusions about whether the form and fashion can remain a fixture. It can't. Not with Kelly being anointed offensive-wizard-meets-quarterback-whisperer. Foles not fitting can be hung on a past regime. Bradford cannot. He was selected by Kelly, so he fits squarely on his head coach's résumé.

The Eagles completed their crawl out of the dungeon of the NFC East on Monday night, capturing first place with a 27-7 victory over the New York Giants. Now, they just have to stay there.  Something that isn't going to be easy to do if their quarterback doesn't improve -- and fast.

Sometimes the game of football comes down to the simple, very obvious things that make a difference between a win and a loss. That was the case on Back in Black Monday Night, as the Eagles forced three turnovers, one an interception returned for a touchdown, and convincingly won the line of scrimmage en route to a 27-7 win over the New York Giants ...

Chip Kelly Impressed With ‘Outstanding’ Defense - Birds 24/7
Chip Kelly said after the game that he was impressed and pleased with what he saw from his defense, which has allowed just 24 points in back-to-back games against New Orleans and New York. "I thought they were outstanding, especially after that first drive where they just come right down the field, went 80 yards and it's 7-0 right off the bat," Kelly said. "[The Giants] kind of neutralized the crowd, kind of hushed everybody up. I think they had 160 yards of offense after that on our defense."

Turns out the NFC East isn't very good - Inquirer
From a cold, clinical view, the Eagles did what they needed to. They are 3-3 and in first place, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Giants, and the difference between where they are now and where they would have been had they lost - a 2-4 record overall, an 0-3 mark in the division - is too wide to bother measuring. They had to win, and they won, and a season that two weeks ago, after that last-second loss to the Washington Redskins, looked lost has the promise of a playoff berth. But that promise exists only because the Giants, the Redskins, and the Dallas Cowboys - like the Eagles themselves - have spent significant time stumbling around like a drunk who has tied together the laces from each of his shoes.

Boy, it wasn’t pretty. But it was a big win. The Eagles get back to .500 and now sit atop the NFC East. This isn’t the time to pat the guys on the back and relax, but getting back to .500 is a big step in the climb out of this season’s 0-2 start. It would be easy to obsess on Sam Bradford’s sloppy play, but I think the first thing you have to do is praise the defense. The Giants came in red hot on offense. They started the game by marching right down the field for an easy TD, but things changed after that.

And yet the Eagles couldn't pull away. Sam Bradford threw a nasty interception of his own. By halftime, all anyone had to look forward to was the new Star Wars trailer. Perhaps the only redeeming facet of Monday's game was the Eagles' second-half defense. It held the Giants to 32 yards of offense after giving up 215 in the first half.
