Chip Kelly recently bought a new house near Philadelphia, per report

Chip isn't going anywhere.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

As if you needed more proof Eagles head coach Chip Kelly doesn't plan on returning to college anytime soon, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan is reporting Kelly recently bought a new house local to the Philadelphia area. Caplan revealed the following in a radio appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic:

A source confirmed to me that Kelly did in fact purchase a home in New Jersey.

Recent reports have mentioned Kelly as a "leading candidate" for the USC coaching vacancy. There was also a report about Maryland being interested in him. Kelly shot down those college rumors during a press conference this week when he stated he hopes to "win enough [NFL] games to stay around long enough where [the college] speculation ends."

If Kelly's words weren't convincing enough, the fact that he's willing to invest a large amount of money into a new house should be a telling sign he plans on staying in Philadelphia.
