NFL Fantasy Football: Week 6 best and worst picks

These are the Eagles players you should pick or avoid for 2015 NFL Week 6.

SB Nation has partnered with FanDuel, which is a daily and one-week fantasy game. It's like your regular fantasy football leagues in that you pick players to represent your team and they put up points based on their stats. Where it's different is that you're not drafting the players. You're starting with a given amount of money and purchasing the players based on their prices. It's like playing fantasy but with a salary cap and you can win money each week. It's pretty cool.

So now that you're interested in checking it out, I'm here to guide you with who you should/shouldn't pick to be in your fantasy lineup as far as Philadelphia Eagles players are concerned. The Eagles are scheduled to play the Giants this week.

Don't forget to join the BGN Fanduel league!

QB: Sam Bradford seems to be trending in the right direction after another positive performance in Week 5. The Eagles' starting passer ranks tied as the 10th most expensive quarterback. New York's defense is strong against the run but their secondary is vulnerable against the pass and the Giants will be without starting cornerback Prince Amukamara. Bradford is a viable choice this week.

RB: The Giants are tied for allowing the least amount of yards per rush attempt. Considering how the Eagles offensive line has struggled for most of this season, it's probably best to avoid DeMarco Murray, who ranks as the sixth most expensive rusher. Ryan Mathews or Darren Sproles could be RB No. 2 options if you need someone cheap but I'd probably just avoid all of the Eagles running backs for now.

WR: Nelson Agholor hasn't practiced yet this week so it remains to be seen if he will play. If he doesn't, the Eagles could rely more on Miles Austin. Austin and Riley Cooper are clearly non-factors in fantasy. Josh Huff is coming off the best receiving game of his career. Perhaps Huff can build on that performance, but don't count on it just yet. Jordan Matthews is the best option here.

TE: The Eagles used a lot more 12-personnel in Week 5 than they have been recently. Perhaps that's a sign of things to come. If so, keep an eye on Zach Ertz.

K: You can't pick Caleb Sturgis when he's missing PATs on a regular basis.

DEF: The Eagles shut out the Giants 27-0 last season when Philadelphia wore their all-black uniforms. It's obviously unlikely that will happen again, and the Giants' offense looks improved, but the Eagles defense is also very legitimate. There might be better options out there, but this isn't a bad one.
