Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson won't be playing this Sunday when his team plays the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a report from ESPN's Britt McHenry.
#Redskins source tells me DeSean Jackson is out Sunday and possibly longer. Said "not even close" #eagles

This is not a surprise. Jackson is still hurting from a hamstring injury that he suffered during Washington's Week 1 game. Jackson has not practiced this week, and Washington coach Jay Gruden already said he's not expecting the wide receiver to play.
Jackson being out is good news for Philadelphia. The former Eagles pass catcher finished with nine receptions for 243 yards (27.0 average) and one touchdown in two games against Philadelphia in 2014. Now the Eagles defense won't have to worry about him at all.
The Eagles are scheduled to play Washington at FedEx Field this Sunday at 1:00 PM ET. Both teams are trying to reach .500 after starting out 1-2.
