The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be one of the latest entities to avoid using the term "Redskins." As first pointed out by Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, the term "Redskins" does not appear in this week's media guide:
This is interesting. The #Eagles appear to have wiped the name #Redskins from this week's weekly media guide. #NFL pic.twitter.com/VgA9ksVrbi

But the "Redskins" ban doesn't seem to end there. Look at the @Eagles and @EaglesInsider twitter accounts. They haven't used the term there either. Even the Eagles' Facebook page hasn't used the R-word, except for this one graphic. It never appears in a text format.
The "Redskins" name has drawn a lot of controversy in recent times, as highlighted on this site. Many people have pushed for a name change, but Washington's football team has been resistant.
The Eagles have several players with Native American backgrounds, including starting quarterback Sam Bradford and starting left guard Allen Barbre.
