Philadelphia Eagles January 2015 approval poll: Howie Roseman

Do you approve of the job Howie Roseman is doing as the Executive Vice President of Football Operations of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Today we continue the 2015 January edition of Philadelphia Eagles approval polls with Howie Roseman. Don't forget to vote in the Chip Kelly approval poll from Monday and the Bill Davis approval poll from Tuesday if you missed out on those.

The former Eagles GM was "promoted" (see: demoted, but with a salary raise) last week from general manager to Executive Vice President of Football Operations. Here's how the Eagles listed his new job description:

"[Roseman] will continue directing contract negotiations, salary cap management, and NFL strategic matters, while overseeing the team’s medical staff, equipment staff and more."

In simple terms, Roseman is basically a glorified cap guy. He lost any power he had in the player personnel department to Chip Kelly. The Eagles power struggle between Kelly and Roseman came to a head last week when Tom Gamble was fired. It appeared Roseman won the power struggle at first but that turned out not to be the case.

Since Roseman hasn't had much time to carry out the responsibilities of his new job, this poll is more about whether you approve of his new role.

So, do you approve of the job Howie Roseman is doing as Executive Vice President of Football Operations of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
