BGN's Mike Kaye already released a mock of his own over the weekend. He has the Eagles taking a linebacker.
"Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State - The 6-foot-4, 249-pound run stopper fits the Chip Kelly mold. He's tall, long and stops running backs in their tracks. While he is not the best in coverage, he shows proficiency with blitzing and is a nasty hitter. If you want to watch some fun tape, check out McKinney against LSU this season. He anchored four-straight goal line stands and was everywhere. He is extremely athletic and that helps him significantly in the run game. While this may not be the ideal position for the Eagles in the first round, the board fell in a way that made the choices scarce without the ability to trade."
(Chuck Bernardrick, anyone?)
Meanwhile, Dan Kadar of SB Nation's Mocking the Draft released his latest 2015 NFL Mock Draft and the Eagles' pick is Alabama safety Landon Collins.
"Landon Collins, S, Alabama - Collins is just too good to pass up with the 20th pick in the draft. The Eagles need to fix their secondary, and Collins is the type of safety who can cover tight ends and play the run."
Collins in an intriguing choice. He has good size at 6-0, 216 lbs and makes some big plays.
