The Philadelphia Eagles announced a few changes to their practice squad. Two spots opened up on Tuesday night when the Eagles promoted practice squad players linebacker Emmanuel Acho and offensive tackle Kevin Graf to the active 53-man roster.
Linebacker Brandon Hepburn and offensive lineman Tyler Hoover have been signed to Eagles practice squad contracts. Outside linebacker Colton Underwood, who was only signed to the practice squad just last week, has been released.
Hepburn was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The 24-year old linebacker played college football for Florida A&M and measures in at 6-4, 235 lbs. Hepburn was waived during Detroit's final cuts and spent the 2013 season on the Lions' practice squad. He also spent the 2014 offseason with Detroit.

Hoover signed with the Indianapolis Colts (whom the Eagles play next) as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2014 NFL Draft. Hoover was waived by the Colts during their final cuts. He was signed to their practice squad but then released one day later.
Hoover played as a defensive end for Michigan State in college. Perhaps the Eagles are converting him to be an offensive lineman. Hoover measures in at 6-7, 297 lbs.
The Eagles' practice squad now stands at 9 players. There is one more open spot before the 10-man limit is reached.
