Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy did not leave much of a tip during a recent stop to Philadelphia restaurant PYT.
The restaurant posted picture of a bill on their Facebook page that shows McCoy only left a $0.20 tip on an order priced at $61.56.
Here is the picture that PYT posted with the following caption. Note that the bill is from earlier afternoon today on September 8th, 2014.
The twenty cent tip that the Eagles' LeSean McCoy just left our server on his $60 check is going to come in really handy for that new official NFL McCoy jersey he had his heart set on.
That is a .03% tip. New record!
According to PhillyMag, PYT's owner claims it was indeed 2013 NFL leading rusher McCoy who was responsible for this bill.
This is a story where no one really wins. McCoy looks bad for leaving a small tip. PYT looks bad for publicly shaming McCoy.
Yay.
Update (5:12 PM EST)
Now some people on Twitter are claiming the McCoy bill is a fake. Note the listed name "Sean Connery".
Update (6:10 PM EST)
Les Bowen has more information. It seems McCoy was the one who did leave the tip.
Asked LeSean McCoy about the restaurant receipt thing. "It’s bull****, man," he said. Declined request to elaborate.

On McCoy receipt thing: my understanding is, he was really ticked about service. But org wishes he’d handled it differently. He understands
