Evan Mathis Injury: Eagles offensive lineman ruled out with hurt knee

New, comments

Yikes.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Evan Mathis has left the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a knee injury.

Mathis had to be helped off the field after an Eagles offensive play. It did not look good. He was not able to walk or put weight on his legs. Mathis was carted back into the locker room.

Update: Mathis has been ruled out. He will not return.

Starting right tackle Allen Barbre also left the game with an injury on the same drive as Mathis. Barbre's ankle is the area of concern. Barbre is questionable to return.

The Eagles starting offensive line right now looks like this:

LT: Jason Peters
LG: David Molk
C: Jason Kelce
RG: Todd Herremans
RT: Andrew Gardner

Philadelphia went the entire 2013 NFL season without having a full-time starter miss a start.

In other injury news, linebacker Najee Goode left the game with a pectoral injury and is questionable to return. Bennie Logan suffered an ankle injury but is still playing.

Stay tuned for updates.
