The Philadelphia Eagles head into their 2014 NFL season opener at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a relatively healthy 53-man roster.
The only players who didn't participate in Thursday's practice were the usual suspects: rookie wide receiver Josh Huff, offensive lineman Matt Tobin, and rookie cornerback Jaylen Watkins. Watkins was seen with his helmet on and participating in some individual drills at the beginning of practice. The team officially listed him as "did not practice", however. The good news for Philadelphia is that none of these three players are starters.

Jacksonville Jaguars Injury Report (Thursday)
Jaguars starting wide receiver Cecil Shorts III was added to the team's injury report on Thursday. Shorts III reportedly tried to practice but was shut down after he experienced hamstring tightness. Jacksonville head coach Gus Bradley stated that it was a precautionary measure, but it's worth noting Shorts' hamstring kept him out of action earlier in the summer from late July under mid-August. More information here.
Shorts started 13 games for the Jaguars in 2013 and caught 66 passes for 777 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Jaguars only have four healthy wide receivers if Shorts can't play: Marqise Lee, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, and Mike Brown. Lee, Robinson, and Hurns are all rookies.
Veterans Geno Hayes and Roy Miller were given a veteran's day off.
