In a move that was expected, the Philadelphia Eagles signed undrafted rookie free agent offensive tackle Kevin Graf to a practice squad contract. The Eagles' practice squad now stands full at the 10-man limit.
Graf was recently released by the team on Monday. The Eagles cut Graf in order to activate starting right tackle Lane Johnson from the Reserve/Suspended by Commissioner list. Graf apparently passed through waivers unclaimed.
Graf, who played college football for USC, was originally signed to the Eagles' practice squad after being released during Philadelphia's final cuts in early September. Graf was then promoted to the 53-man roster following Week 1 due to the injuries of starting offensive guard Evan Mathis and fill-in starter Allen Barbre. Graf spent all three weeks with the active roster as a game-day inactive. He was clearly an emergency option only.
Here is a look the updated 10-man Eagles practice squad. Linebacker Brandon Hepburn and offensive lineman Tyler Hoover were released on Tuesday night. Inside linebacker Jake Knott announced his return shortly after the release of those two players.
