Today we kick off the 2014 NFL season first quarter edition of Philadelphia Eagles approval polls with head coach Chip Kelly.
Kelly's off to a much better start in his second year at 3-1 than he was during his rookie year at 1-3. It has not always been pretty, however. Kelly is arguably coming off one of his worst coaching performances as the team's head coach. The Eagles failed to score a single offensive touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Nick Foles and star running back LeSean McCoy have both struggled behind a patch-work offensive line.
Still, there are plenty of positives to be found. The Eagles are managing to score a third-best 30.5 points per game despite their struggles. They also rank 10th overall in yards gained, though that number drops to 19th in yards per play.
The sky isn't falling for Philadelphia quite yet but it's apparent Kelly has a number of issues to sort out.
So, do you approve of the job Chip Kelly has done as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles? Vote now in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments.
